The origin of TianChu's delicious food
In March 2020, the Malaysian government announced a movement control order resulting in many people opting to cook for their family at home.
However, many found that it was very time-consuming and created a lot of wastage from leftover ingredients. There was also the added dilemma of keeping their menu new and exciting.
One of the people who experienced this predicament is Tian Chu Miao Shi (天廚妙食). Then, a group of Tian Chu Miao Shi's (天廚妙食) partners gathered to discuss and develop ready-to-cook meal kits to make home cooking easy with pre-prepared ingredients and recipes. They then decided to share their wonderful idea with the world as they believe that the best way to multiply happiness is to share it with others.
SenangZhu worked alongside Loong Kee Restaurant and Master 1 to create the pre-made meal kits and improve the quality of food with fresh ingredients and healthy, delicious recipes that can be conveniently and quickly cooked with no wastage.
The food ecosystem—the way in which food is grown and distributed—is complicated, and it can be hard to tell whether food at the grocery store is of high quality and grown sustainably.
SenangZhu is solving this problem by partnering with farmers and the foremost sustainability experts to raise the standards with highest-quality ingredients, creating a distribution system that delivers ingredients at a better value, with a guaranteed market for our farmers, all while investing in the things that matter most—our environment and our communities. This will be a decades-long effort, but together with each SenangZhu home chef, we can build a better food ecosystem.
